Transmission clunk is back after dealer service

You can utilize the clutch slip on slow maneuvers, complete engage or release whenever possible. Where I had the momentary slip was from a dead stop, 2 up and starting out from a stop. I don't get that with the non-syn in the primary.

I agree with most previous posts. I was a dealer tech several years ago ( car/ truck) and we used bulk fluids in the shop. I had asked the shop Forman one time if since oil was pulled from a bulk tank, how could one know what weight of oil was recommended by the manufacture, that specified like 5/20 or another weight. He says its all 10/40 and nothing else. I was rather perplexed, but hey I used what the dealer supplied, wasn't right but I did it. Thing is I learned that the customer suffers in a shop that is a flat rate shop. Don't know if bike dealers are like car, but maybe sure they are. Techs are only given so much time to do an operation, so they are not going to waste time. All the rate times are dictated by the manufacture not the dealer.
