Nord Locks. Anyone tried them?

Good stuff, makes sense in that area of manufacturing. Been in small manufacturing shops with cranes, and always wonder why they allow people to work under them without head protection. Things do work lose !

Yes they do. I've seen it here at work and like I mentioned, we torque everything.

Been using them on my shovels for years, discovered those at a racing parts supplier. Been using them on the robots and high movement application on the job. I've never had a failure with them.

As an old school safety-wire monkey I am quite interested.

ETA Is it recommended to replace bolt/stud after each use? I'm wondering about over-stressing the bolt/stud while removing the nut.
