New Rider / Rain Visibility
Hi gang,
Im a new rider. Ive had my first long wet riding experience this week. The visibility sucked on my clear visor. It got foggy on the inside and so i opened it up a notch for better air flow but the water beads on the outside were just terrible. It was city driving so I was not roling at 100km or anything...
I lifted the visor and had some yellow shaded Goggles but those too got pretty specked with water...
I've read lots of places that say not to use Rain-x or anything like that but how bad can it be?
Advice?
Thanks and

Pretty sure Rain-x has alcohol in it and that is what is can be a problem with some plastics.
I use Novus plastic cleaner and polish on mine. Water seems to roll off without much issue. See link below:

As with most such stuff we see on the internet, do your own research! Its easy enough. Rainex has a dedicated product for plastics, which is suitable for all the brands used for bikes and helmets.
