Default My Road King has issues starting when hot from time to time

I have a 2012 Road King (103 motor) with just over 40,000 miles on it. Some days I have 0 issues. I was on a road trip last weekend, and I stopped to get gas and when I went to restart my bike it would turn over but not start. It was like it was flooding itself. When it finally started it ran like crap. It was idling at a high rpm when I would be stopped. I had a similar issue a few months back and took it to Harley and they replaced the terminal for the throttle because it was corroded. It was having close to the same issue as when that happened, but this time it isn't kicking on the check engine light. Anyone have a similar issue?

Nope, Plugs are good. I even changed them last time it happened, and still happening. I had issues all the way to Mississippi on a 600+ mile ride, and not a single issue while I was there or on the way home 600+ miles. I've ridden a few times since then and no issues. I think it's an electrical or sensor issue.

My 13 rkc has been strange when hot. My trick is to turn on the power turn on, then the kill switch and hit the starter before the fuel pump cranks up. Starts quicker for me that way. May help. May not.

If your'e not running OEM plugs, install them. Clean and tighten battery cables. May have a fuel line issue inside tank, do a search, many posts on this. Battery voltage is critical, how is it?
