How many miles is too much for a touring bike.

There are guys with different brands including Harley that have 200k/300k miles. I don't know why folks think that 30k is a lot.

I typically only put 3000-4000 miles on a year. But then again, I live in Wisconsin. Not exactly conducive to great riding weather all year. But if it's dry and above 45, I'll ride.

These bikes are tough I put 30-40 thousand a year on. Run the motor till it starts using oil around 90-125 thousand and refresh it and run another75 thousand. This is on a stage one motor. I have 15 thousand this year and it seems to be a cooler year in Wisconsin.

Well I jumped in and bought a new one. Traded my victory gunner in on this.

I got my back in 2013, it's a 2007 RG. It only has 28k miles on it.
