First off I wouldn't tel a dealer check my oil! Second off there are plenty of user friendly programmers out there depending on what year bike. Third I like the v&h FP3 do some research and pick one that's right for you. Remember a dealer tune is expensive and has to be EPA compliant

What he said.
Plus it's a canned map and and it's a crapshoot that it will work with your mods.

just get a vance and hines FP3 or a Power Vision. You just flash a new map onto the bike, maybe dial it in with an autotune session or two and then you're done. You don't have to leave it plugged into the bike.

The FP3 is super easy. You plug it in, load the app on your phone, search for the map, flash it, and go. If you want to tune out some decel pop or whatever then you can just go run an auto tune session for an hour or two.

No dealer or shop needed.

I will be installing a new exhaust system in the next week and was doing some research on weather a fuel management system was needed or not.
It is looking like it is...
I was looking at the FP3 yesterday and reading this makes me think that may be the way to go.
Did I understand your statement correctly "it does not have to stay plugged in"?
It sounds like it re-maps the fuel system and then you can put it back in the box, correct?

Thanks Gary
