Default Stand for 2013 FLHTK to keep vertical?

Looking to do some upgrades and I know for example with the derby cover I have to keep the bike vertical when changing. Any cost effective stands out there instead of buying a lift?

Scissor jack works well for me. About $70 at Amazon.

I bought a condor stand and it works great for my sportster and my dad's electra glide. I believe they are less than $200. They are worth the cash and it can be installed on a trailer if you need to transport a bike.

Be aware of what you are doing when you do this. I was working on a Sportster I used to own in the garage with a 2X4 under the jiffy stand and managed to push the bike over the other way and laid it into my car door! Made a nice crease. I was a little po'd. Every since that little incident, I buy the stuff to do it right. Least the bike wasn't hurt too.

Are you talking about a bike stand or a wheel chock? If you're not wanting to go to the expense of purchasing a lift or jack, how do you propose you're going to get the bike up on a stand without one? Buy a quality jack and be done with it.

i had harbor freight stand which worked well for my Sportster. But with the Street Glide, I could not pull it back off....rocker too tall and bike too heavy. Bought the WheelDock and it's perfect. a bit pricey but then it'll last me a long time. Rolls right in and rolls right out.

Amazon Amazon

I got two of these. Kinda overkill buying two but using both side by side cover the whole frame so its super sturdy when raised. These are also very compact.
