Default Need help on Fuelpak compatability

Will a Fuelpak off a 02-07 dresser (2006 Road Glide) part #61003A work on a 2006 Heritage Softail EFI? The site says the 2006 Softail uses a 61001A Fuelpak. I've talked to V&H and they said it would probably work, but not sure and that I'd have to test it out to see. Should be the same engine, etc. but probably a different program.
Would the 61003A work on the Softail? Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff

Sounds like V&H already gave you the answer...but if it makes you feel better to get a second opinion from a stranger on the Internet then yeah, it would probably work but you would have to try it...

I'm a stranger! The Fuelpak is the same actual programmer. The difference lies in the length of the cord for the connectors. Until you get to later years

Jason,
Thanks for your reply.
So, your saying that this should work? I was thinking it would since the engines are the same, etc.

Default Fuelpack

Are you trying to use the same fuelpack from one bike on another?
I thought they could only be used on one bike after the pack read the VIN number. But that might only be for newer bikes. I know the V&H "Street Tuner" will only allow one bike to be tuned, and you have to buy another tuner for another bike.
