2017 Dyna headlamp ring bolt removal?

I'm trying to get the headlamp bolt unscrewed. The tiny nut is too small to back up, so it just spins.

Also, is there a easier way to bolt it back on?

Anyone have a old style gloss black ring they want to sell?
