Using a batt. charger to start a bike ?

why not wire the bike to a battery ? any battery. take one out of a lawn mower or boat or even your car. would be alot safer for the bike and less risk of frying something on the bike.

Jumper cables from your car to the battery on the bike. Don't jump when the car is running, just on battery power alone. Presuming the old bike is 12v...
