I'm having oil leaking out of the inspection cover. If someone could tell me what the amount of oil that goes in there I would appreciate it. I thought it was just a little less than a qt but that's not working. (don't have a manual) Only leaks when on the kick stand. I've had the bike for about 4 yrs now and this has just been an issue. I've changed the gaskets but still leaking. It does have a "custom" type cover on it. Any help would be grateful. TIA

The round derby cover is leaking or the oval chain inspection cover? The oil level should technically be until it just touches the bottom of the diaphragm spring when looking through the derby cover while bike is straight up. If gaskets are not sealing it, the cover or the primary cover itself might be warped.

Thanks, that is what I've always used as a measure also. But in the owners manual there's a specific number of ml and was just wondering what it was. Oh, and it was leaking from inspection cover, not derby cover. All's good now. It was way overfilled.
