Default Recabling for new bars

I got the 2017 low rider S
for now she sits as a stock ride
I will be puttin on an exhaust here in the near future
as soon as that's done I will work on the bars..
gettin a bunch of mixed reviews ..
some say no recabling required for anything under 12"
others say il need 2 recable at 12"
I was told I should go 10" save myself the headache and save the pocket
any help would be appreciated

Best bet is to get the bars that are most comfortable to you and fits your needs and not let the cables dictate what bars to get. If you need new cables after you settle on bars, then so be it.

I agree. Hit a local bike night or check around to see if a dealer or indy has any bikes with apes that you can sit on. I made 2 sets of ape hangers out of 1" pvc for mock up on my current Softail Standard. I went with 16's and will definitely need new cables (which I already knew).
