I wish I liked one of the two I picked

2017 Ultra Limited. We tried the Ultimate Seat, Mustang Super Touring, and the Hammock from Harley (which I still have) ...but I went with the Russell Day Long in the end and couldn’t be happier, especially the wife.

Honestly, I’m a little taken a back, by the lack of participation here. I really thought there’d be a much higher turn out. But, I do thank those of you who did participate.

I was looking for it to turn into a oil or shock like thread...glad it stayed civilized.

Well, I have limited experience with aftermarket seats. My FXR seat broke down after many years and I replaced it with a Mustang. I can ride it all day with no issue. Back in 2012 I purchased a Victory High Ball which came with a little sleakish seat that was seriously uncomfortable after about 50 miles. I replaced it with a Mustang and could ride all day sans issue. So I voted for Mustang. I had to add some foam to my stock seat on my Springer Classic. Now it is better but still not nearly not as comfy as the stock seat on a Heritage Springer.

I just it would be cool, if we had a thread here, that answered the question we hear soooooooo often. How many times have we seen the same questions? “What’s the best seat?” “What’s the best cam?” What’s the best exhaust?” etc., etc. I wouldn’t mind seeing those three questions answered in a sticky. I love seeing the posts where they have tried several seats, and chose this particular seat, because..... I might further ask, how tall that person is, their weight and what bike.

By the way, Mustang is killing it! Who’d a thunk it?

Mustang makes a good seat for the m9ney, that’s the best I can say...Mine with a backrest works really good and my wife loves it.

Lepera Maverick Daddy Long Legs here. First seat I ever bought so I don't really have much for comparison. When I got the bike there was a factory Low seat on it and it pushed me up against the tank (I'm 6'2''). Read a bunch of reviews online and liked what I read about the Lepera. Its a nice seat but not real cushy. Some of my buddies have Mustang seats and while I've never rode on one, couldn't get comfy on them just sitting there, just my 2 cents.
