They work great on polar bears, have one installed and I've never hit a polar bear in my life.

Thumbs up

The idea behind the whistle is to get there attention. Over a million miles in a semi + road time in a cage & bike I've hit dear dogs coyotes and 1 cow. But never with whistles installed .. So they've worked for me .

Yay or Nay?

Please tell me why you believe they do or don’t? What are your experiences with them?
There was a thread on this awhile back, and the consensus was that for the most part they don`t work.

Your best defense would be to drive slow enough to stop in time, if that`s possible.

Do deer whistles work?
Do gremlin bells work?
Do loud pipes save lives?

Have you thought about going on the antlers forum and asking the Deer their thoughts?

When I have ever seen deer when riding I hit my horn a couple times. Gets their attention and scares them and they run off.

When you stick one on the side of your cam cover it lowers the oil temperature by 10 degrees... cross thread points

If they don't give much mind to the bike careening toward them belching an obnoxious exhaust tone..... Why would they pay any mind to a whistle?
