High idle issue (3500rpm +)
I have a 2012 Ultra classic, I just finish rebuild motor, handlebars install. I start bike and it’s a high rev as if the TGS was either upside down or the wires were wrong. I checked the wires and there were good. So I kept the TGS unplugged and started the bike, and the same high rev of the motor is the same.... in lost and could really use some help

Did you fix the issue? I had a high rev issue one time when I lifted my tank to check something, I ended up disconnecting the IAC plug at the IAC... I cursed myself for a couple and then realized it was just the plug loose.. I wouldn't try to start the bike with anything unplugged like the TGS sensor though... Like Zanthamos said above, the IAC could be clogged or not moving at all..

If you had any back fire after rebuild, trying to get it started, you might have blown off the purge tube cover. It is behind your intake, a small nipple sticking up that should have a rubber cap plug on it. It has something to do with Cali smog but 49 states just cap it off. #11 on the diagram.
