I've looked at a ton of videos, and to say the least, I'm still a bit intimidated by the swap. I don't think I have the patience to do what it takes to change out the bars myself, so I'm inclined to bring it to the HD Dealership. Typically, what does it cost for the shop to do it? I should not need cables for 12" DNA bars. I've read that opening up a few zip ties gave about 6 or so inches of slack in the wires and the cables have good range of swing without binding for up to 13" bars depending on width. Don't underestimate this job, as the prices some members have mentioned are eye-watering! It can take several hours of labour. Take what you have read about doing such a job with a big pinch of salt, as some owners will cut corners, which a dealer is unlikely to do.
