Burning smell coming from right side
I have a 2016 Street Bob with just over 1400 miles and i noticed a burning smell coming from the right side of the bike while riding. Same side as the pipes. This is my first harley and i am a relatively new rider with probably a year experience and i wanted to know if its my clutch im smelling or something else? The bike i had before my harley was a 1982 honda cb750 and i never smelled anything other than gas because it was carburated. It doesn't really smell like burning rubber. I can't explain it other than a burnt smell. If anybody could help me that'd be great!

Well, the clutch is on the left side. If the clutch is working right and not slipping or grabbing it's probably fine. If not, you can remove the derby cover and stick your nose in there. A problem with the charging system would also be noticed as an electrical smell.
Check for exhaust leaks at the heads and muffler joints.
Remove the battery cover and make sure the cable terminals are tight.
