Default Oil in air filter and on throttle blade

I'm changing the air filter cover on my 2014 Road King. In doing so, i noticed that there is a film of oil on the air filter and a thin film of oil on the throttle blade. This is the first time I've inspected the air filter in 3500 miles, so don't know if this is normal. I read a thread about checking the oil and haven't done that yet. I just had an indy change it, and I've not used him before. I plan to clean the filter. Any suggestions, or is it no big deal?

didn't say how it was rode nor miles on it
it could be normal and then it may have issues like breather valves going bad.
the more age, the more likely this issue will come up
that is why they make adult diapers for leaky plumbing.
wet sumping could add to it if it were happening.
there are many approaches in routing the c/c vent but hd routes to the air cleaner to pass emissions, not exactly great for an engine but a healthy engine handles it in stride.
unless you oil bag is below the engine, ignore the wives tale about running the bag low, as long as it has the factory fill, no issues to be had.

It's not sumping. Check your oil level, chances are your new Indy over filled and it's puking out the breathers when your running on the highway. If oil level checks out ok, halfway up the crosshatches, then it's a possibility that the umbrella breathers have taken early retirement. Finally, vent it to the atmosphere. There's kits available or if you have more than 4 brain cells you can make your own for about 15-20 bucks depending on how fancy you get.

If the bike is stock and breathers routed to the intake and you are not burning excessive oil between changes, don't worry about it.
