Just bought an 09 EG. It has Python slip-ons. And from what I can tell is the only mechanical mod. I haven't found a programmer and the air filter has a HD part number printed on it so I'm assuming it is a stock filter.
Do I need an aftermarket filter and tuner or is it fine to just add slip-ons only to an otherwise stock system? I know I can change the filter and add a programmer if I wanted to but I just want to make sure I'm ok as is for now.
So with slip on currently installed, if I change the intake filter and add a tuner, will I actually notice a difference in performance? I know all the parts advertisements say you will but I have changed a couple things on other vehicles over the years and never really seen any "seat of the pants" performance increases.
