I bought one at Home Depot on a recommendation when I changed tires recently. It was the only one unopened, and it didn’t work unfortunately. Took it back.
Winged it, as usual.
Several years ago I traded in a 3/8 drive dial torque wrench with the Snap-On man for a 3/8 with light and audible ... My youngest son was on the truck one day and saw it ( with my initials engraved in it ) and he still had it for sale ... Les ( Get It Form Les For Less is what we called the Snap-On man ) said he'd make him a great deal as the initials were holding back a sale ... He ( my son ) bought it and gave it to me for Christmas :>)
I have a set of Mac ratchet wrenches and they are nice. Have a Matco and a Mac ratchet they are nice also. They are not Dual 80 nice though
The fractional SO wrenches I have are one step above the Mac, my opinion.
I have a set of SK sockets that I like but one of them wont go all the way down on my socket holder. I believe its called broach, isnt machined enough.
They are all great tools and no issues with any of them. The wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, ratchets, allen sockets I have from SO seem just better in my hand. Again, my opinion.
I gave all my raised panel craftsman stuff to my son when I started buying the tool truck stuff. Never a problem with those but those ratchets were terrible
