Dynojet PV2 won't boot
My Dynojet PV2 won't boot. But I can boot into the Power Vision Recovery Mode.
I'm trying to find the PVUpdateClient.exe software but no luck. It's not on Dynojets download page. Can someone email it to me? |

Thank, You, Thank You, Thank You
Looks like that's just what I needed. Now to get everything updated, then get my .lic and tune installed. |

Need a little help, I think. I figured out how to transfer the tune.
This is a little different than the PV-3 which allows you to transfer files directly from Windows. I can not for the life of me figure out how to transfer a .lic file to the PV2. Nor can i figure out how to transfer my license from my PV-3 non touch screen (not the PV3) to the PV2. Supposedly it's possible. My screen when attached to Windows shows: PC Link Mode Active. But I can not access it using Windows Explorer. Should I be able to? No touch screen either. |
You have to use PV software or C3 in PowerCore. As far as transferring licensing, may want to ask Dynojet direct.I know you can apply a solo purchased license, but IDK if you can pull/transfer an original PV3 license to someone elses PV2?

I'll do that. From what I've read you can transfer the license the PV tuners.
Other than that, everything works thanks to the link that you posted. |
The .LIC file you mention is a license file for the PV3's, not the original PV. The .LIC file will not work with the PV. Login to your Dynojet.com account, go to MY ACCOUNT > TUNE LICENSES. Click DOWNLOAD LICENSES under the purchase credits button. There you should see your license(s). On the right side, find the PV-HD link to download the .TXT file version of the license for that bike. Once you have that on your computer, connect the PV, wait for it to show PC LINK MODE ACTIVE, then launch the WinPV software. Click APPLY LICENSE and find that TXT file. That will apply the license to that PV for the bike.

Great. Worked like a charm.
