If you exist, I salute you. Why can't I ever just admire my bikes mods over three years and say to myself "I'm 100% done, does not need a thing, except to be ridden now" I always seem to hear a voice in my head "What's next?" It's a sickness with the HD's I think.

I’m done with my 2024 FLHP.

For now.

And I said the same thing $2000 ago.

Always something to be done, and then you need to take it to the frame and redo it. I figure I only need another $20k or so and I will be done. Yeah I know but I don't like the new bikes at all and will never buy one :icon_badrazz:.

They say never say never. I am saying never.

I got my ‘85 FXRS just the way I want it many years ago and haven’t “ modified “ it further.
Despite rumors to the contrary, it is possible, but you gotta begin with the right platform. 👍

Never done!
I have parts on the shelf I still have not installed, and a couple that I forgot about :D

It has been part of the ownership for me.

Every vehicle I have had has been modified, but mostly shifted to my bikes over the years, and Harleys are the perfect platform to modify.

I completely understand.
This is a slippery slope, but Yes, I am done with the Mods.
Wait a second, does paint and powder coating fall into the mods catagory? LOL :icon_bricks:

It's therapy, and cheaper than a shrink in the long run.
"You're only a couple grand from being done" (and you always will be).

Yeah, the guy who just sold his bike.
he's done with mods, on that one.

hummmmm
well i guess so
2001 still the same since the mod, more time to ride and more time to surprise rice and cagers
1974 ch mod many times mostly cosmetics but with 79k engine out of frame for restoration, bird in hand, up the power and still going 200k later.
sad that today, hd is not so much a blank canvas.
