I live in Massachusetts where Geico or Progressive is not available due to the fact we have the worse drivers in the country. I pay $1150 for my 05 FXSTI. i'm 39 yrs old, I do not have a terrible driving record, i get "safe driver points" i'm a step 12 on that stupid scale the insurance companies use but the rates are out of control where i live.
Here in Connecticut, I use Geico because it's the best deal available. They have a special policy just for bikes. I don't use them for homeowners or automotive because they can't beat my current policies.
Just to give an example: Two years ago I had (dare I say!) a Honda 500 (1979). Progressive charged me 140 per year just for liablility, uninsured motorist ( a must in this state), and passenger. I now insure my 2000 Custom Sporty with Geico for 134 per year, and that's full coverage. I got a discount for age (43), mutliple bike (6 in my lifetime), and length of time I held a motorcycle license (since 19). Last year the price was about 140...this year it dropped a little.

Oh yeah...one more thing...there is no lean holder on this bike. I hold the title but still keep full coverage...I don't know if that's why my rates are lower than most.
Geico is just entering the New Jersey market on 3/10. My car insurance is with them and my motorcycle ins. ( HD Foremost Ins.) is running out at the end of this month. I'll comment again after I speak to a representative and get a quote.
