Default May Sound Stupid....

So, I was taking the bags off of my '05 Deluxe the other day and ran into a problem. The torx bolt that holds the passenger peg and the bag support stripped when it was only part way out. I would say about half way out. I think that whoever installed it might have cross threaded it because it's still as tough to turn as when I started. So, I tried everything that I could think of to get it out, but I can't budge it now. Vise grips won't work, it just tears up the bolt and I crack my knuckles.

Any ideas? Or should I take it to an indy or maybe just find a machine shop?
