While in Sturgis, my dad's Victory Cross Country Tour started having electrical issues (engine light, battery light, voltage gauge pegged at 18). Rice Honda was a Victory dealer before Victory went under so we limped over there...

...Long story short, they diagnosed it as a bad voltage regulator which, of course, wasn't in stock. The service guy got the a-ok from the dealership owner and they took a good part off a Victory in the showroom and fixed my dad's bike, having us back on the road in a few hours. They overnighted a new regulator to the dealership to replace the part on the showroom bike and charged us the overnight freight but, hey, who friggin' cares? It beats getting stuck. The bike performed flawlessly on the 1400 mile ride back to Los Angeles.

Now THAT is customer service!
