Thought I'd share this with you folks. Last year after our trip to Yellowstone/Montana and riding in snow flurries and cold weather I decided to get my wife some heated gloves for future trips. I got her a set of Gerbing S3 battery operated gloves for Xmas(didn't want her wired to the bike like I am). Keep in mind that we live in the Tampa area and don't use heated gear too often. So every once in a while I would pull the gloves out and try them out/ charge the batteries if needed. Well, last weekend I pulled them out and 1 of the batteries wouldn't charge, I tried on 2 different days. I call them and explain the situation. I explain that these gloves are brand new, never used and that a battery is worthless. They tell me that the batteries are only covered for 90 days after I receive them. They will not cover it. Again I explain to them that they are brand new and I now have a $200 pair of gloves that don't work and I would like a replacement battery. No dice!!! They offer to give me a 10% discount on a new $89 battery. Told them to pound it as I have found the same battery for $40 online. Just a heads up to you guys .....

 

They may be brand new to you, but they are really a year old..
Sucks, but that's the truth of it.
