Heading from Maryland for a week's vacation. Deciding between Laconia (Bike Week) head down to Carolina, Tennessee, BRP or possibly heading to the Great Lakes which we have never been to. Can anybody in any that area suggest any good riding or things to do up that way to help us decide. Thank in advance.

 

As suggested in other threads you could go around Lake Superior (and Lake Huron). Michigan (lower and especially upper), Wisconsin and Ontario offer great riding experiences.

This ride is much more enjoyable in July, still waiting for Summer to arrive in these parts. With that said it is a beautiful ride.
