Am I the only one here in Michigan who plans on riding through the winter? On the good days of course. The local HOG chapter that I ride with goes on breakfast rides every Wednesday. Just myself and another rider rode on our bikes. The temps were mid to upper 30's. I dressed for the weather accordingly and had no problems. I rode all last winter as well. It was a mild winter if you recall. I hate the idea of not being able to ride even though it may be a little less comfortable. Anyone else feel like me?
I'm with ya. I rode last year on Christmas Eve. It was a high of 50 that day. I'll ride in winter if I can get down my road. It takes a little longer for the snow and ice to clear off the dirt roads.
I plan on NOT putting my bike away rode all last year except for a few days as long as I can get ot of the driveway and onto the main road I'll be riding. Just have to dress for the weather
I live south of you in Oakland County, winter salt land! So how do you keep the salt at bay between rides? Seems that you'd have to wash it with water after you rode.
I miss having a heated garage.
For me as soon as the salt hits the road I'm done riding the bike till its washed off the roads.
I don't want a rusty bike.[:@]
