Any member on here from Central Illinois?

 

Just outside champaign/urbana. Was in bloomington at Chucks on friday looking at a superglide custom. Did the Eastern Illinois ABATE bus poker run yesterday.

 

Just six miles from bloomington here....

We are planning a Galena run teh weekend of 4/25 and 4/26. We will be stopping at poopy's. Any interest?

 

too far out for me to say. Heck in april in illinois, it could be snowing and 20 or 80 and sunny.
BTW since you're from Illinois, check the motorcycle activist area, and look for the comments on Illinois proposed helmet laws. ahh never mind, it's just as easy for me to cut and paste the link.

thanks for that link, i'm shocked our state hasn't done it yet. any links or info on the best person or place to write to express my views on this.

 

first off, I don't want to hijack his thread, but if you read thru that link, it will give you various address's, phone numbers and emails of the different state senators and representatives for your area.
Now for the on topic portion of this, BPK, can you expand a bit on your plans? is this going to be a go there and back in one day (done that, long ride) or what are your thoughts?

 

East Central Illinois (Charleston) here. My local dealer is Legacy HD in Effingham, IL. Give me a shout if any of you are heading down this way anytime soon.
