The newer FF's wernt bad. Small crew you knew everyone. Had lots of fun in ports ship would stick together. Our ship was kicked out of Baharain, we were to rowdy. The captain called us a bunch of barbarions. The name stuck we were then known as the USS Barbie Barbarions. FF1088.

Ok, here's what my father said... I figure this means more to you guys than it ever will to me.

I spent most of my hitch on the USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN 617. It was the sub where I became qualified (earned my dolphin pin). If you have occasion to stop by my office, I will show you the very cool model I have of it on my wall. It was constructed by taking the blueprints of the sub and slicing it into 6 layers that are then overlaid over each other in a 3 dimensional manner and laminated with silver. It has remarkable details. I was also on the Amberjack (Diesel powered) for awhile and the Trout (Diesel powered) just before I got out.
