LOL. Well, he don't sell web sites just great trees. In the triking "community" he's very well known for his trees. Go to trike specific sites and you will find many owners using and recommending his trees.

Just finished the installation of a motortrike 6 degree rake kit on my 2005 FLHTC Lehman trike. What a difference. The effort to steer it through the curves, at low speed and even at highway speeds is MUCH easier. Gotta say it was worth the cost in every respect. With the stock trees, it was a brute to steer around the roundabouts here, and on the highway I found that even windy mountain roads were a bit of a challenge muscling the thing around.
IMHO it's the best upgrade you can do in terms of comfort.

Randy is good to deal with. He oversaw the building of our trike, while it was at Hannigan. Ours has his 9deg trees on it and they work great, just like power steering.

Default sportster trees being pushed back

[QUOTE=tizz440;16111613]I installed raked wide glide tree's lowerd forks and a 21" front wheel on my sporty and it rides fantastic alot better , feel more stable and smoother ,now i want to do a wide tire conversion to a 180 rear tire but its time to ride ill do it in winter time!oh ya thinking of building a trike,i would say rake it!!
Also looks better,i read somewhere something about sportster trees when they age they tend to be pushed back a little so raking in this case may put u back to stock or when it was new, mine raked at 3.running a soft tail wheel and a fender ,i made some alumium spacers[/QUOTE

Could any one explain how it would be possible for sporty trees to be pushed back when they age?

it's not possible for any trees to get pushed back with age, Sportster or not … neck bearings wearing out may cause some movement but still not enough to return to stock rake … I think he was a little confused or didn't understand what he was reading … once raked, they are raked until changed physically …

I have been told this by a few." If you rake for a sidecar (or Trike) it won't work with out one". I have one bike with a sidecar and no rank smaller bike it works finer. But adding a sidecar to my 2017 RGU is a different story. Did the front in work a few weeks ago used a freewheel tree, Triglide tubes that are two inches longer and tri glide Dampener.
I wanted the front end down first so There would be time to work out any issues riding without the side car. The bike handles just fine with out the side car. The rake went from 26 degrees to 32 the wheel base extend 4 inches Ordering the Hannigan Twin classic this week for delivery in October.
You can see the difference with the rake and tubes. But it does not stand out a lot. The bike sits better. The 4 inch longer wheelbase does in crease the stop to stop turn radius some. being a RG We did need to make a few minor mods for the faring.
