Trike coversion
#31
IIRC, your 2007 Ultra has a 32T front pulley and a 66T rear. That is pretty tall gearing, making 6th gear almost unusable most of the time. My 2011 Street Glide came with a 32T front and 68T rear. Hannigan uses a 66T rear on their conversions so for that reason, I told them that wasn't going to fly when they did our Transformer conversion. I did some research and found a 68T non-cushdrive pulley from a Sportster, then shipped it to Hannigan. Our trike seems to work fine with that gearing combo but just in case I need more grunt when I start pulling a trailer, I purchased a 30T front from Boardtrack H-D. Cost was less than $100. FWIW, a 70T rear pulley would require a new belt. (expensive)
