Our trike seems to work fine with that gearing combo but just in case I need more grunt when I start pulling a trailer, I purchased a 30T front from Boardtrack H-D. Cost was less than $100. FWIW, a 70T rear pulley would require a new belt. (expensive)
excellent information. I'm in the research phase of a trike build now. Good to know pullys rather than different transmission.
