Default Hannigan Steer Lite Triple Trees

Rode my sidehack for a month with the stock trees and the steering stabilizer that came with the Champion Avenger car. I thought the stabilizer looked a bit odd but left it on to function. I had UNB Customs in NC order me a Hannigan Steer Lite set of trees. UNB must have set the car up very well as I took the stabilizer off and rode it 20 miles without. Steering was a bit hard but no wobble or anything. The new Hannigan trees are on now and the really do work. Turning requires much less effort now. Shout out to UNB and Hannigan.

Good to hear it worked out for you. Just a reminder. Once in awhile check every bolt and nut on the mounts. look for signs of movement put a sprocket on it.

The mounts are pretty heavy duty. The frame attachments are 3/4-16 joints and the mounting bolts all 1/2-20. I will check them periodically I'm currently working on a heavy bracket to change the front frame mount slightly that I will be able to mount my hard lowers from AdvanBlack

Yes the mounts are great. When one comes lose and it can happen they wear fast and even can break bolts.
For lowers a curved front upper is used .
Great looking Rig hope to see it on the road someday.
My Blue one is in bike room right now. Getting ready for 3 planned trips with it.

I contacted Champion about the front mount. They said they had one for the 'water cooled" bikes and would exchange it. I'm waiting now for them to tell me they are sending it.

Are you going to swap them yourself or take it in.

Left MB at 0400 1/29 and dropped the bike off at UNB at 0800 to mount the trees. They had them all mounted and ready to go home at 1300. Loaded the bike on my trailer and off I went.. At one time I'd attempt anything mechanical on a bike, not any more.
