Default Hitch on road glide or street glide

I'm planning on using my brother in laws trailer for next years road trip. Just wondering how a hitch mounts to a road glide, and what it looks like when not in use.

Please post up some pics and brand suggestions for my consideration.

I've had HitchDoc's on 2 of my Ultras and was very pleased. Pretty much disappears when you pull the pin and drop the ball.

If the warranty matters to you, I have been told that adding a trailer hitch completely voids all factory/harley warranties on your bike.

Every owner has been told. Some just don't listen. . .

Harley doesn't recommend pulling a trailer. Nothing in the manual explicitly states, pulling a trailer will void your warranty.

He's got a '15 RG so his base warranty is probably already expired. Besides, when asked I've always told them it was a parade flag holder. In fact even rode in one day with flags flying. Made sure service mamanger saw me. Never a problem about the trailer hitch. Steelerdude1, I don't have any pics of mine on my phone but will try to get some tonight. I went with this Khrome Werks black hitch https://www.denniskirk.com/dk/produc...x/39020156.jpg.

Did you read the excerpts from the manual that I posted above? It's in plain English.

I checked in with Jim Palmer at boardtracker, he said pulling a trailer doesn't automatically void his ESP plan, only if towinfg caused the issues will it be denied,

I have a bonus coming up, so I am planning to buy both the board tracker esp and a hitch. Possiblly may make my own trailer in liieu of borrowing.
