So I have a kendon single rail trailer....this trailer is the BOMB !!!! It works great with my RK and SGS....until I changed the front tire on my SGS ....the front rail is only 6 inches wide and the sides are 2inches high.....well my 180/55-18 avon front tire is too big for the rail and I am afrad that it will cut into the tire.....how the heck am I going to trailer my SGS from Illinois to FL......I called Kendon. No help !!!! And what is worse my kendon is a bit old and the rail is part of the floor of the trailer.......damn I am pissed but not pissed enough that I changed my front tire...i need a solution.

Get a length of 8" wide channel iron and shim with wood to fit in existing 6" channel iron. Still don't see channel iron cutting tire as edge is pretty beveled.
