I am getting the raked tree and the reverse as well. The closest shop that can do the work is in Fargo ND, 300 miles away.
Keep us informed. The Champion single and double are on my short list for the RGU as of now. When the time comes I may install it my self or have local HD dealer do it .
The car on my Street is a working great but not the right one for a Touring bike.

I tried the dealer I bought the bike from and Black Hills HD in Rapid City also, neither would install a sidecar. The closest place I could find to install it was 300 miles away.

Sidecars have long been a liberality issue. The few older dealerships left that have owners and people in the shop that grew up around this stuff are more likely to be of help. Mischler's HD/BMW near me has doing sidecar work for those that want it for over 50 years. They will get them for you but just recommend you buy it and ship it there.
We know it will happen to the Touring bike just a madder of when. At the start of winter we took the sidecar off the 1996 FB and put it on the 750 Street. Worked out so well it will stay on the Street. This setup is for a granddaughter that can't walk so she still gets to ride.
This is another that is on the list, that may go on the 2017 RGU. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/produc...-twin-sidecar/
It spent 3 years on the FB.

Sidecars are a ball! Traveling takes longer because every time you stop, you get in a conversation. I like the no longer available Harley sidecar but, I think the Hannigan is a better setup. Get it no matter which one, ride it and enjoy it!
There is no doubt the Heritage looks great. I considered it for the RGU. But when it comes down to Function it had short comings the Classic twin filled.
