This is why I wanted the front end done ahead of time. Issues came up and it gave us time to over come them. talked with shop they were swapped so it was no big deal if mine sit a day or so. The panel the covers ignition switch was not lining up so that needs some custom work. Bike looks different with the trike front end but hard to really get a feel for the looks with the front fender still off. Front stabilizer was being installed near closing time yesterday.
Issue that came up were not serious ones. They were a result of the RG faring fit .
When you step outside the box expect a few stumbles.

i just put a Trans-Moto side car on my 2005 Ultra Classic for the "dog" to travel with us, it is quick detach, 5 minutes tops, adjustments are locked down, so No doesn't need adjustment every time on and off.

I have a trailer I pull for extra gear on long trips, or going to the beach etc, lawn chairs cooler, umbrella, table, etc.
the trailer pulls like its not there.

the side car is a completely different ride, and "trying to get used to it" third ride yesterday, second with the Puppy.

still have some fine tuning to do, toe, lean etc

On the one We are doing now we are going a bit over board. The Classic twin is a larger car and not taking any short cuts. Our for RGU will has a 7 degree rake using a Free Wheeler tree. Changes we are making to the front end present a few more step and parts due to the Frame mounted faring..
The Street Side car set up did not need any rake car wheels center distance from center of bike rear wheel will have some effect on steering. Generally farther forward better for high speed farther back low speed.
There will be those that say you can not ride without sidecar after the rake. They are wrong. It will steer diffident, but you will adapt.

The RGU is home. Front end is done. Freewheeler tree 7 degree rake and TriGlide tubes. The wheel base grew from 64 inches to 68 inches. The bike sit well not change to inseam footing. It Handles like a dream with out a sidecar attached. At first it feels a little different but in a good way. You notice the RGU faring supports are gone, replaced with an internal one . Steering Stabilizer installed.Next order the Sidecar. Looking at it you can notice the rake .

Here we go. Just placed the order for the Sidecar, first week October delivery. More details to follow when I get the paper work to sign and return. There goes a new bike in August. The cash will go to the sidecar.

Signed the order and emailed it back.
When ordered I set 1st week of October as must have date for delivery. There is a chance it could arrive toward end of August if so it would get installed early September.
Nice part all of that is done now even the shipping is taken care of.
The Sidecar all that I have added to it crating shipping taxes ect. $10,083.
Classic twin sidecar
Mag Wheel upgrade
ECC
Spoilerlight
Cup Holder
12 V /dual USB ports
Seat belt
Convertible top
Color match paint
Crating
Freight
Tax.
All quick disconnect mounting hardware is included . If all goes well there should be no fabrication need for the install direct bolt on adjust and go. It so the project should come in close to the budget.
Not including a ride down to watch some of the building.

After two delays ,one due to a CNC machine break down, the other paint not shipped on time, it is done. The Hannigan Twin classic is finished and will be crated and turned over to shipper the 24th or 25th. I rode down to Murray KY just for a ride and dropped off the payment.
The body was in line for paint when I was there. Now if the shipper does not lose it soon it will be here.
