1997 road king has a voyager trike kit that
will not stay tight. I will not be removing it.

 

It probably could ... I would not suggest it. What keeps coming loose?

 

Have you tried red loc tite? I would try that before welding

 

 

I would hesitate to weld on the frame. Welding cristalizes the metal next to the weld. Frames need to flex, you could end up with stress cracks next to the welds.

 

Wouldn't do it.


Friend had one on his touring bike.
Needed a new tire while out west.
Dealership didn't want to be responsible so they made him remove the voyager kit.
Then they replaced the tire.
Then he had to reinstall the voyager kit.


Couldn't do that if welded onto the bike.
