Default can a voyager trike kit be welded on permaneltly

1997 road king has a voyager trike kit that
will not stay tight. I will not be removing it.

Have you tried red loc tite? I would try that before welding

Why not just tighten it all down and put a weld tack on the nut/bolt? You could still break it loose if you had to but normal riding won't.

I would hesitate to weld on the frame. Welding cristalizes the metal next to the weld. Frames need to flex, you could end up with stress cracks next to the welds.

Wouldn't do it.

Friend had one on his touring bike.
Needed a new tire while out west.
Dealership didn't want to be responsible so they made him remove the voyager kit.
Then they replaced the tire.
Then he had to reinstall the voyager kit.

Couldn't do that if welded onto the bike.
