I have a 2010 HD Roadglide with a Motortrike Gladiator IRS conversion on it. The bike has less than 5000 miles since the conversion 4 years ago. The IRS 3rd unit exploded about a month ago. I took it to the Motortrike dealer in the area. He removed it and sent it back to Motortrike. They have no clue why it came all to pieces. They also will not warranty any of it or even give me a break on pricing of the parts even though they admit it was some sort of manufacturing defect. Out of warranty...they said...my issue they said. So $5500.00 later they sent a new one to be installed and will warranty the parts for 12 months. They will also not warranty the labor to re-install if the new 3rd unit fails in the next 12 months.

Just a word of advice for you guys and gals looking to do a conversion. Customer service or the lack of it, should be a big part of your decision making process. I have never dealt with less caring people in my life.
