Default wide tire conversion - searched could find all answers

Hi, guys!

I am absolutely sure this has been covered here...but can't find a complete instructional. Im going for a look on this bike that won't go very far from home...not on 1.8gal anyway...pic attached.

Project Bile: 1982 Shovelhead, FXWG
Existing Mods: Belt Drive Dry Primary
Planned Mod in Question: Install a tire that is much bigger than stock. 185mm wide and 30" OD (stock is about 26")

Issues I need options / solutions for:
NOTE: I love jokes but "a tire that fits" isn't what I'm looking for here.

1. Swingarm too short. Needs to be 2-3" longer to accommodate. Lengthen or is there a bolt on, longer one available?
2. Loss of Torque: Need to adjust sprocket setup to gain back torque / proper gearing. Current setup below:
  • 23T Drive
  • 49T Driven w/ .25" offset
Potential solutions:
  • OEM 21T Drive (20T might be better if it exists) paired with OEM 49T Driven?
  • keep current 23T Drive and pair to custom 56T Driven?
3. Chain clearance around tire:
  • drive sprocket - needs additional .5" offset
  • driven sprocket needs additional .5" offset / spacer.
  • starter...how to address?
  • primary...how to address?
  • crankshaft...how to address?
Links to a how-to (for my vintage) would be great! Thanks guys!

I had both an 83 FXR and an 03 Dyna. Wanted to go wide with both but all I found were kits. I am certain with fabrication skills anything is possible?

easier to move the whole motor and trans a half inch, might make for an interesting ride but if its a bar hopper ? other would be offset the swing arm to the right itll dogtrack but wouldnt be as bad as the motor weight.
