Bushtec vs Khrome Werks hitch
Hey everyone, I'm looking at putting a hitch on my 17 Ultra Limited and am trying to find the best hitch for the bike. I'd like to not have a trailer ball hanging off the rear of my bike when I'm not towing. What are the pros and cons of the Bushtec and the Khrome Werks hitches? Who's got the best plug and play 4 pin wiring setup? I've already decided on a MotorcycleTrailers.us Nomad for my trailer as I know the owner very well and he is just right down the road from me.
Thanks in advance!

I have the Bushtec Hidden Hitch along with their harness ... It was a straight forward installation ... Your trailer will have a different set-up ( ball ) then the Bushtec uses ... Bushtes used a "Pin style" on their trailers ... The Bushtec Harness is a five wire setup ... Can't help with the Khrome Werks.

You can simply remove the bushtec "pin style" and put on a regular ball-type receiver on the bushtec receiver arm. If you email them and tell them you don't need the pin and lock, you can save yourself a hundred bucks or so.
As far as the hitches themselves, I did a lot of research for both my '04 and my '15, always came back to bushtec. The hitch sits high and hidden when not in use. The directions aren't always the best though.
