Anyone ride in snow?
OK, I don't own a trike.....maybe someday.
I just put my Road King away for the winter, as roads will soon be even more slippery than they are now(frozen leaves & frost already)
Was just wondering if anyone rides in actual snow. (and I don't mean a dusting....but, you know...3, 4, 5" of fresh snow.
Maybe I should post this on the Triglide forum too?
It's hypothetical for me, but if I thought there was little to no salt down, and I did own a trike or sidecar, I could see me doing it - IF- it was relatively safe.
Tnx

A couple of years ago I decided to ride to a January meeting. It was 38*, but the sun was shining so I decided to layer up and take
the bike. It was a 30 mile trip. Around mile 15 it started to snow. By the time I got there I had an inch of snow on my windshield. When
I walked in no one could believe that I had ridden in the snow. I played it cool and didn't tell them that it wasn't planned. The ride home
was one of the more memorable rides of the the last few years.

Michigan loves to use road salt from the very first moment the snow falls so I don't plan on riding in the snow, and like @jeff53404 I wait until the spring rain has washed away the salt from the streets before riding again.
But, Kevin at DK Custom Products sure does seem to like to play in the snow on his Tri-Glide; if I lived in an area that didn't use road salt I'd give it a try.
