Sidecar question
#41
OK, This is on you now. I detached the sidecar (decided not to detach the sidecar vessel from the sidecar frame). Trying not to worry about the part later on where I say, hmmmmm, did I torque that bolt right? I wonder if I should have used some lock tite on that. Benny, (my cockapoo - who is the most willing, ok, ok, "only" willing rider in the sidecar) sure hopes so.

Good looking rig, Smitty. Hope your roads aren't salted like they are here. When I didn't have a single day last winter that wasn't salt heavy, I decided to save money and dropped insurance on my Ural this winter. I'll keep the Harley rig insured year round, but not ride it in this stuff. I really enjoyed the few snow rides I got to do with the Ural, and my grandson loved it, too. Even took a lady friend sliding around the neighborhood a couple years ago, and she seemed to enjoy it. Probably not a lot of 70 year old ladies taking sidecar rides in snow in this country.

Sidehack info!
Happy NEW YEAR fellow riders. I posted this question on wrong thread (it's me gesser status [into my 71st year] and that's my story & sticking to it) as new member & not master of universe with computers.
Couldn't find on internet what sidehack year ranges & model including colors with attachments was norm made for a 1940 UL (been told maybe actually a US model since gear shifter has reverse ???) of which has the original front & rear frame mounts.
I'm trying to keep it as original as possible!!! Planning to use it for Misses & I camping/fishing just travelling BACK ROUNDS across USA in our retirement in 1 year!!!!
Thanks all for help!
