Rig looks great. After market faring seems some fab work is what is needed. I doubt there is a quick easy fix.

Maybe ditch the faring and go with a period correct windshield. It may offer more adjust ability to be straight up. Wish I had the actual answer for you, real nice rig.

My 70 is a windshield only setup, problem is that the windscreen only bolts to the same mounting holes on the trees...another poster alluded to the fairing being a repop????? Im going to look at that, I have several other fairings to compare it to. I assumed it was an OEM batwing. Ill inspect it a bit closer. Still won't change the issue, but Im gonna check. I know the bike has an old repaint on it, the color wasn't offered, but it looks like its a fairly old paint job if its not OEM...Thanks for the reply..

The fairing looks right, from what I see of the brackets are right, I'm lost on this "wedge" tho. The seat can be adjusted lower and yes the windshield should be more up-right. My car hasn't been on in over 30 years and about the same for the windshield and fairing. I'm looking for a photo from when I painted it in '95.

A possible help, a frame mounted seat will have you sitting back and lower, not the answer you are looking for but maybe the bike becomes rideable.
