Default Shovelhead w/factory hack & adjustable trees

I have a 77 FLH w/matched factory Harley car. The bike is equipped with adjustable rake trees, and headlight wedge. It has a batwing fairing. It also has the "Flex seat" and that combination
puts the windscreen/seating position at a severely compromised angle and it is basically almost unrideable. My question is as follows; Did the factory make a relocation bracket for the light bar/fairing that "stood the screen/fairing " up to a more straight up position? I haven't been able to find much info out on this setup.....any one here can help I'd appreciate the info...the angle of the screen puts it dangerously close to the riders face...thanks..

Does the screen bracket have 4 mounting points. If so, make 2 extensions for the top 2 bolts and pivoting the screen forward might work

Pictures would help tremendously, though I think I understand the question.

I also think you might get the right guys looking at this if posted in the Classic/Shovelhead section

I can pivot it forward a tiny bit on the top, but the light bar is incorporated into the bracktets as well and limits the forward movement, also the headlight, while tilted forward a bit with the wedge, still poses a problem with clearance in the fairing. I am confident I have the cobbling skills to get it to work, I am just wondering if there's a factory provided fix that anyone has ran onto. It seems that while forward thinking enough to have adjustable trees, and the forethought to make the headlight wedge, that would have most certainly had the issue with the windscreen....???? Ill send some pix tonight...thanks for the replies..

I have removed the top post and spacer, I can move it ahead by fabricating a small strap but it will only move forward about two inches, it needs to come forward quite a bit. I researched the parts manuals to no avail.....I guess it wasn't a problem back then????

It will hit the headlight if moved forward much, but I may be Ale to move the fairing back separate from the screen

Fork is angled back to adjust trail for Hack...

Why not relocate the fairing to those other holes just behind the passing lamps?

The way the bracket is bent it would severely limit forward movement, but I might be able to space it, the problem then would be that the fairing would be too far forward. The fairing and wind screen are for all intents, separate..Thanks for the observation....
