Default Question about a belt on a Bob

We are putting a sidecar on my Bob and wondering if the 1 inch belt is going to slip under acceleration? I have heard the 1 inch belt on the Bob with its moving swingarm will sometimes skip a tooth or 2 under heavy throttle.

Is there anything I can do to prevent the belt slipping like maybe keep it extra tight?
