Lowering a 2014 Limited
Guys, I have a little bit of an issue, and I'm hoping someone out there can help me out. I just purchased a 2014 Limited and my issue is I'm short. I have no trouble holding the bike up or anything like that. It's just that I'm not totally comfortable with it. I tried the reduced reach seat from HD, but that only moves me an inch closer to the handle bars, and that doesn't do me any good. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
Thanks
Brad

Brad, 2 options.
1. Send you stock seat to http://www.meancitycycles.com/ , call them and talk with them about what you need - they do great work! BTW, if interested I have a 2012 "low" FLTR stock seat with the Mean City extreme with memory foam, 1/2 inch forward, and memory foam contoured option for rear that I will sell. It was perfect for me on my CVO Roadglide - I sold the Roadglide and still have the seat. PM me if interested.
2. an air ride height adjustable system. You can spend well over $2000 for a legends, $600-1400 for an Arnott or you can build you own for about $250 - http://custombaggerforum.com/forum/a...php?t-517.html
I have had the legends as well as a platinum (basically what Arnott sells) and prior to selling my Roadglide I did my own (see link) which IMO was better and far cheaper - 4" of travel and no fender touch, even if you loose all air.
PM me if you have any questions.
Hope this helps, Mac.....
