YeeHaw!!

Open Road Outfitters is only about 13 miles from my work location. The wiring is from Knoxville, TN - BONUS points for them (Go Big Orange)!!

When this ice and snow clears up, I need to go see them.

I just had a nice email back and forth with Dale from Open Road Outfitters. He is ordering my hitch (he has the wiring) and when it gets in, he is going to do an install video of it going on my bike.

I'm pumped. Gonna uncover and shine the Legend, just for S&G's.

Looks like The Electrical Connection is the source for the wiring. According to their web site, Most of our products are hand-made in our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.

Sounds like a good thing to me (I was born and raised in Knoxville).

Yeah, what he said.

My Legend (made in 2004) has Harley brake lights and Harley bullet turn signals and I don't know if I can just replace the bulbs or if I have to $pend the big buck$ for different fixtures to convert it to LED.

At Kutter HD, the LED Harley brake lights are $119 (each!!) so to do the bike and the trailer, I would need 3 of them. Plus, I would need to convert 2 turn signals on the trailer and 2 fronts on the bike and 5 194 fender running lights/license plate light on the trailer to LED.

And that doesn't include having it painted to match the new scooters paint. It is painted to match a 2003 Fatboy now.

This $tuff i$ getting expen$ive...

Trailer hitch must be a 2014 offered by Mchitch. It mounts totally diferent than 2009-2013 hitch. Also, you will need a new harness. HD went to a new wiring system. Also available from Mchitch.
