on youtube there is a 2000 mile review for street rod exhaust pipe which brought the pipe 2 inches away from the foot peg. Anyone know how he did it? Thanks

Looking at a HD night stick down the road for it. The Street is never going to have the sound you may expect from other Harleys.
It is an 8000 Rpm engine and you can use every bit of that. As of now you can not purchase the exhaust (Header and pipes) V&H makes for the 750 Street Flat tracker.
Put front brake back , some lights and I want it.
you own a street. Albeit the 500 or 750?
Nice little street bike the MoCo thought would suffice against the competition. Only to find their fan base isn't satisfied. Sor they added the rod. Rod?
As in "V" ROD? No, street rod.
Almost a V Rod LOL
How you get to the ultimate state of tune "street", "rod" or " v rod" is nothing more than a displacement game and a few add ons by way of exhaust A/C, ECM and cams
Rest is looks, geometry and ergonomics
What do you want?
Sound and perfomance may very well go hand in hand. Or not?
But in the end it's all about the all mighty $$ and common sence
Save a little now. Add some later only then whishing you could had a v8 instead.
Choices. Choices!
Being at the ripe age I'm at now and havin thrown $$ foolishly has tought me one thing.
Think twice. Then think again before you lay your hard earned $$ down.
Less you have money to burn.
That's really where this thead has headed towards. No?
Like choosin more ink? Food? Pipes or gasoline?
I got my priorities down now.
Hope you will too (:

Yes I do own a 750 street. Was at the dealership and deal was offered on one with 323 miles on it I took it . The dealership knows me well and knew I had a granddaughter that is 19 and considering riding her own. That is why they took me in back and showed it to me.
I have found reasons to ride it into town now and then has just over 600 miles on it how.
Getting it ready for her I have added saddle bags and LED turn signals bulbs. As for the check I wrote for the bike it did not hurt be a bit.
If she does not find riding to be right for her I will have some fun with the bike. 3 more grandchildren getting older everyday. No harm in having it hanging around. Kind of like the ATV don't get used much but great to have around.
Street 750 and Street Rod have the same frame, different front end. I have some ideas .
Looking for another mid 90's EVO, project for 9 year old Grandson and I to take on in winter.

Bypass the V&H's stuff and go directly for both quality sound and craftsmanship.....I highly recommend the S&S Grand National slip on.

Keep in mind that SuperTrapp offers the Stout Slip-on for the 2014-18 XG 500/750.
This offers a 30% increase in flow over the stock muffler. Comes in Ceramic coated black with black Stout end cap. This thing really wakes up the bike.
