Bought the seat. Put it on last weekend and road just a short 200 miles on Sunday, but I've also been riding to work everyday this week. It's pretty damn nice. I wanted to shorten the bike for my short height of 5'1", so I also changed to 10.5" shocks at the same time. I bit stiffer and bouncier, but in a fun way (sort of...lol). I've been putting off doing the seat upgrade. Usually the seat does not bother me, but this past weekend's ride also challenged me there. After about 300 miles, I was starting to really feel it in the seat. A friend is trying to convince me the seat will become more comfortable after it breaks in. But I'm at 3500 plus miles already. Not sure how much breaking in time it needs.

I went to a HD dealer to get the HD windshield from my Street. I decided against it since I had to remove the head bezel/fairing to install windshield and some wires would be exposed. My fairing is custom-painted, so it's a must-stay or I can get another fairing with better wind-protection and just get a new fairing custom-painted to match. I like the big Batwing from Memphis Shade and MS has another options that are more affordable with better wind protection. HD WINDSHIELD is $320. The Memphis Shades options (photo from the dealer catalog) is less than $200 and can easily get it painted to match my Harley. I want the mirrors with running light too. |

I'm sorry, I did not get the Memphis Shade, I was only sharing the information. I had the HD Windshield, and removed my cowling. The picture at the top of this page is a pretty good view of it, but I can post additional pictures of it...I am sure I can find more. I have many rides already with Go Pro recordings...if that is what you are looking for.
